PRODUCTDESCRIPTION Lanco TF 1780EF provides excellent slip and abrasion resistance in coatings, due to itsextremely low coefficient of friction. Based on a combination of PTFE andpolyethylene wax, it can be used in solvent-borne and powder coatings. Due toits excellent surface properties and compliance with FDA regulations theproduct is especially suited to can and coil coatings. FEATURES/BENEFITS
?Enhanced scratchresistance and slip?Improved metal mark resistance?Increased resistance toscuffing?Improved abrasion resistance?Improved anti-blocking properties?Excellentwater-repelling properties?Aids in dirt removal from coated surfaces

Incorporation | |
Addition levels
| Lanco TF 1780 EF can be easily dispersed into liquid coatings using low speed mixers. Formulation variables such as viscosity, solvent package, resin type, selection of dispersant, pigment surface treatment, etc. can influence the ease of incorporation. High-energy dispersers may offer advantages in some applications. In powder coatings, Lanco TF 1780 EF should be incorporated into the premix prior to the extrusion stage. To improve surface finish (slip, mar, scratch and abrasion resistance), the recommended addition level of Lanco TF 1780 EF is 0.5-2%, based on total formulation weight.
